Jérôme Lapointe, Poly eRacing - Formule électrique, and Smart wheelchair: finalists at the Forces AVENIR 2014 gala
The three finalists will represent Polytechnique at the upcoming Forces AVENIR gala, which takes place at the Théâtre Capitole in Québec City on September 17.
The two projects and the personality were chosen from among the many applications submitted in the following eleven categories: Overall project; Arts, letters and culture; Aid, peace and justice; Entrepreneurship, business and economic life; Environment; Health; Science and technological applications; Society, communication and education; and the undergraduate, graduate and overall Personality awards.
The evening, emceed by Stéphan Bureau, celebrates student engagement. The winners will be announced, and will each receive the prestigious AVENIR trophy. A grand total of $114,000 in bursaries will be split among the finalists and winners.
