Finalists announced for 15th edition of Forces AVENIR university program: four Polytechnique projects chosen
On July 16, following a selection process, the finalists were announced for the Forces AVENIR university program.
For a 15th year, the program has recognized, promoted and honoured students who have distinguished themselves by their involvement while diligently pursuing their studies.
Polytechnique Montréal finalists:
Environment category
Poly eRacing - Formule électrique
Science and technological applications category
Oronos Polytechnique
PolyProject
Society, communications and education category
Projet PC2
The finalists first submitted their applications to their respective universities in one of the following categories: overall project excellence; arts, letters and culture; entrepreneurship, business and economics; aid, peace and justice; environment; health; science and technology applications; society, communications and education; and personality (undergraduate and graduate). Next, four projects or students per category were invited to selection interviews, which led to the choice of finalists.
Engaged students from all across Québec are invited to the Forces AVENIR university gala, which will take
place October 2 at Théâtre Granada in Sherbrooke. To be emceed by Gregory Charles, the evening will feature the crowning of the
winners, who will receive the prestigious AVENIR trophy. A grand total of $114,000 in bursaries will be shared among the
finalists and winners.
