The Geological Association of Canada (GAC) has awarded the 2006? GAC Student Prize to Camille Dubreuil-Boisclair, a bachelor's student in the Geological Engineering program at École Polytechnique de Montréal.

The award is presented each year to an outstanding student in recognition of his or her accomplishments and to invite the student to participate actively in developing the profession. As a student member of GAC, Camille will have access to the GAC's highly instructive electronic magazine, GEOLOG, and will receive a subscription to the Geoscience Canada journal.

On December 16, 2005, Camille also received a 2005-2006 scholarship from the KEGS (Canadian Exploration Geophysical Society) Foundation. Camille has also been invited to participate in the special KEGS Symposium, to be held on March 4, 2006, before the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada Convention. The KEGS Foundation was created by a group of mining companies known for their support of Canada's top geophysics students.
