Our research activity consists in understanding and enhancing the functional properties of semiconductor films for solar energy conversion, solid-state lighting and sensing applications. We design and deposit semiconductor films with specific structural and morphological properties at the micro- and nano-scale. We work at the interface between solid-state physics, materials chemistry, and device engineering. Besides their intrinsic technological interest, devices are tools to explore the fundamental physical properties of the films.
