The Joseph-Armand Bombardier is a distinction created in 1980 in honor of Joseph-Armand Bombardier, Quebec's most famous inventor and founder of Bombardier. It aims to recognize the research efforts of a researcher or a team that has contributed to a technological innovation. This contribution includes the development of a new product / process with a clear competitive advantage or the significant improvement of an existing product / process. The commercialization of the innovation must have been successful or must demonstrate a promising potential.
