Founded en 1887, the Engineering Institute of Canada has the following mission: 1) To develop and promote continuing education; 2) To initiate and facilitate interdisciplinary activities and services; 3) To lead member societies in defining and building the future of engineering; 4) To advocate the values and benefits of engineering.
