Seyed Tabatabaei Hesamoddin also receives a prize of $ 2 000 for his thesis entitled "Development of Microporous Membranes from PP / HDPE Cast Film Extrusion and Stretching Through." The work of Mr. Tabatabaei Hesamoddin were supervised by Professor Pierre Carreau and Professor Abdellah Ajji from the Department of Chemical Engineering.
Each year, during the graduation ceremony, Polytechnique Montreal gives an award to the student who wrote the best Ph.D. thesis.
