Maxime Ducoulombier, energy engineering student, receives a $ 1,000 prize for his paper entitled "Optimizing thermodynamic refrigeration systems." The work of Mr. Ducoulombier were supervised by Professor Alberto Teyssedou and Sorin M. Mikhael, a scientist at CANMET.
Each year, during the graduation ceremony, Polytechnique Montreal gives an award to the student who wrote the best Master's thesis.
