Matthew Riel, electrical engineering student, receives a $ 1,000 prize for his paper entitled "Design of an array antenna-reflector scanning electron beam to 5.4 gHz for space applications." The work of Mr. Riel were supervised by Professor Jean-Jacques Laurin.
Each year, during the graduation ceremony, Polytechnique Montreal gives an award to the student who wrote the best Master's thesis.
