Dominic Deslandes
2007
Dominic Deslandes, who conducted his doctoral studies in electrical engineering at the École Polytechnique de Montreal under the direction of Professor Ke Wu, won the Doctoral Prize Research of the Council Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC). In 2005-2006, Mr. Deslandes had won the prize for the best doctoral thesis at the École Polytechnique de Montreal. Noted that he has completed his doctoral studies with a perfect score of 4.0 on 4.0.
Each year, Doctoral Prizes are awarded by NSERC to recognize outstanding research conducted by students in natural sciences and engineering. A scholarship of $ 10 000 is presented to recipients to highlight the achievements of these scientists whose research is the most promising in Canada.
