Daniel Granger, a student of mechanical engineering, received a prize of $ 1 000 for his paper entitled Amortization of a beam by constrained viscoelastic treatment and analysis of the transitional arrangements following an impact. Work M.Granger were supervised by Professor Annie Ross.
Each year, during the graduation ceremony, Polytechnique Montreal gives an award to the student who wrote the best Master's thesis.
