Benjamin De Leener receives an award of $ 1,000 for his thesis entitled Automatic Segmentation of the spinal cord on magnetic resonance images propagation deformable models. The work of Mr De Leener was supervised by professors Samuel Kadoury (Computer and Software Engineering) and Julien Cohen-Adad (Electrical Engineering).

Each year, during the graduation ceremony, Polytechnique Montreal gives an award to the student who wrote the best Master's thesis.
