IICAP contributes to the development of Québec's aerospace industry and its competitiveness by providing companies with qualified engineers who meet its needs in innovation and design.
IICAP offers:
- to Polytechnique Montréal’s students from all bachelor of engineering programs, the opportunity to do an internship and / or a project in one of the aeronautical companies in the Montréal region,
- to graduate and postdoctoral the opportunity to use their knowledge and obtain additional training by carrying out specific projects of design and innovation, proposed by industrial partners in aerospace,
- to teachers, the possibility of undertaking a sabbatical period and/or an internship in these same companies,
- conferences, courses and industry tours to help students learn more about the industry.

Polytechnique Montréal’s students are able to get know-how suitable to the needs of the industry by participating in the following activities:
• realization of an internship and/or a project in one of the aerospace industries that are members of the consortium,
• additional training periods with industrial impacts,
• industrial visits,
• scientific conferences.
