Detailed description

I am seeking a motivated student to lead an applied research project focused on the renewable energy transition in northern and Indigenous communities. This project will assess the economic and environmental impacts of new power generation solutions, with a strong focus on the specific challenges of remote northern regions.

Project Objectives

  • Conduct lifecycle analysis (LCA) to assess the environmental impact of new power generation technologies.
  • Perform cost-benefit analysis to determine economically viable solutions.
  • Apply econometric methods to analyze the economic and social impacts of energy projects.
  • Collaborate with northern and Indigenous communities to integrate their perspectives and energy needs into the evaluation process.
