Detailed description
We are looking for graduate students in engineering physics, materials engineering or biomedical engineering to perform research in the field of biomedical nanotechnology. Our laboratory's mission is to develop and model new processes and laser therapy for biomedical nanotechnology and to develop new nanomaterials and bioplasmonic diagnostic devices. Both projects are related to diagnosis and therapy:
1) Development of a multiplexed imaging technique based on functionalized nanoparticles; image analysis; application to pathology and cancer detection.
2) Development of a laser therapy technique of cells / tissues using functionalized metal nanoparticles; Applications to ophthalmology.
Both projects are developed in close collaboration with researchers / professors from different disciplines of engineering and medicine.
Financing possibility
Students will be funded.
