Project Title: Advanced Integrated Electronics for Harsh Industrial Environments
Project Overview:
This project focuses on developing and testing electronic devices and circuits for high-temperature (HT) applications using Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology, provided by the National Research Council of Canada (NRC).
Main Objectives:
1️) GaN Device Characterization & Compact Modeling – Characterizing GaN devices and developing a compact model covering a wide temperature range (up to 500°C) for accurate circuit design and simulation.
2️) GaN-Based Integrated Circuit Design – Designing and testing complex GaN-based circuits for HT applications, including sensor interfaces, RF transmitters, signal processing, gate drivers, A/D converters, and more.
Requirements:
Master’s (or Bachelor’s) degree in Electrical Engineering with excellent academic track record
Strong background in AMS integrated circuit design and transistor-level characterization
Previous research experience and publications in relevant areas
Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for research
Strong written and verbal communication skills
