Professor Michel Pettigrew decorated by the Pressure Vessel and Piping division of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers

Michel Pettigrew, a professor with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, received the American Society of Mechanical
Engineers (ASME) Pressure Vessel and Piping Medal on July 26, 2006.
The event took place during the Pressure Vessel and Piping division's 11th international conference, held in Vancouver from July 23 to 27.
Professor Pettigrew's work in flow-induced vibration technology has been repeatedly lauded by the scientific community. He has received the W. B. Lewis Medal from the Canadian Nuclear Society, the R&D 100 award, the Professional Engineers of Ontario Engineering Medal, and two ASME Best Paper awards.
