Polytechnique students are big winners at the 2012 Jeux de Génie/Engineering Games
The 22nd edition of the Jeux de Génie/Engineering Games, Québec's largest gathering of future engineers, were held January 3-7
at École de technologie supérieure (ETS). More than 450 students from 11 engineering schools faced off in a series of
academic, athletic and cultural competitions. The 44-student Polytechnique team took first place overall, ahead of McGill
University in second place and Université de Sherbrooke in third.

The Polytechnique delegation stood out in several of the competitions:
General knowledge: 1st place
Industrial engineering: 2nd place
Computer engineering: 1st place
Mechanical engineering: 2e position
Jungle game: 1st place
Machine: 2nd place
Improvisation: 1st place
Final standing: 1st place
The next edition of the Jeux de Génie/Engineering Games will be held at Polytechnique Montréal in January 2013.
