A number of AEP committees helped organize the event as a gesture of gratitude to their professors, which made for a very festive ceremony. 

The event organizers were Émilie Thibaudeau (Director), Anik Trépanier (Treasurer and emcee), Daniel O'Brien (AEP VP-Education, and emcee) and Josianne Rivest (VP- Logistics).

Gilles Savard, Dean of Research and Innovation, took the podium at the outset of the event and saluted the students' initiative: “These awards are, in my view, the best symbol of our students' recognition of their professors' commitment, excellence and passion for teaching.”
