Enterprise founded by Polytechnique students wins 2011 Industry Excellence Award

Float4 Interactive, an entertainment technology enterprise founded by five Polytechnique Montréal students, won a 2011 Industry Excellence Award from the Digital Screenmedia Association (DSA) on April 27.


Float4 Interactive's project for the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery earned the young entrepreneurs their award in the category "Best Government/Education/Non-Profit Agency Deployment - Self-Service Kiosk."

Float4 Interactive, created at the Centre d'entrepreneurship HEC-POLY-UdeM by Alexandru Duru, Martin Bisson, Ionut Alexandrescu, Sevan Dalkian and Alexandre Simionescu, develops immersive multimedia and interactive environments for entertainment, advertising and design applications. Float4 Interactive also won a Grand Prix Défi de l'Entrepreneuriat jeunesse in June 2009.
