The Université de Montréal Carabins swimmer was a close third in the 200-metre breaststroke at the competition held in Calgary last weekend.

Frédéric, who last competed in the 200-metre breaststroke fully four years ago, surprised more than a few by swimming his best time ever.

His final mark of 2:12.59 was a mere four-tenths of a second behind the winner. This is his first medal at the CIS championships.

Congratulations on a fine performance!
