The Centre d'entrepreneuriat Poly-UdeM sets up shop in the J.-Armand-Bombardier Incubator
After last December's announcements, and in the spirit of continuity, the Centre d'entrepreneurship HEC-Poly-UdeM now wishes to inform the campus community, as well as the university's partners and collaborators, that first-line entrepreneurship services will continue to be offered by the campus's establishments.
Polytechnique Montréal and Université de Montréal are jointly bringing together some of the resources and expertise of
the old Centre to form the Centre d'entrepreneuriat Poly-UdeM.
The point of service is open starting today in the offices of the J.-Armand-Bombardier Incubator, located on the Université de Montréal campus just near Polytechnique Montréal's main building.
In 1996, HEC Montréal, Polytechnique Montréal and Université de Montréal joined forces to create the Centre d'entrepreneurship HEC-Poly-UdeM. Following in the footsteps of major North American campuses, the three major affiliated schools created their own entrepreneurship resource. Since then, the Centre has helped launch 190 companies and awarded over $1M in start-up bursaries through its annual Entrepreneurship and Innovation Contest.
In February 2014, the three Campus institutions redefined their needs and put the current new structure into place to support the projects of Polytechnique Montréal's entrepreneurial students.
