Séminaire Chaire de théorie des jeux et gestion | GERAD
Titre : Viability Theory for Sustainable Development in the Rain-Forest of Madagascar
Conférencière : Claire Bernard, GERAD
Résumé
The challenge is to determine policy actions that meet two objectives: the conservation of the forest and the satisfaction of the needs of local people. By defining the appropriate constraints and calculating the viability kernels, viability theory offers different choices of policy actions that all meet the objectives for the long run. The talk includes a brief introduction to viability theory.
