Electron Holography of Electrodeposited Magnetic Nanowires


Nanowires of almost every material have been receiving much attention internationally due to their relative ease of fabrication and the many interesting properties. However, being small, measuring the properties of an individual nanowire becomes a challenge. This talk will highlight methods for characterizing semiconducting and magnetic nanowires including electrical probing in a scanning electron microscope, structural and compositional analysis using scanning transmission electron microscopy, and magnetization measurements using electron holography.
