Laptop computers
You can hook up your personal computer to the wired network in our computer labs as well as to Poly’s wireless network. Students who have trouble connecting can get help from the computer lab technicians (L-6632).
Laptops are available for short-term loan from Room L-6632.
If you receive an e-mail from the Service Informatique (IT Services) informing you that your laptop has a virus, do not attempt to connect to any of Poly’s networks (wired, wireless, VPN or modem) until you have resolved the issue! Students who fail to abide by this rule may be denied access to these networks in future.
