Research Specification

The Optoelectronics Laboratory is active in the field of optical cohenrence tomography and high-performance photonic device research with special emphasis on active semiconductor devices. The research is both theoretical and experimental. Some of the important problems under investigation are:

  1. The optical cohenrence tomography (OCT), Doppler effect;
  2. the design, simulation, fabrication and characterization of novel photonic devices;
  3. the modeling of quantum - well lasers;
  4. the quantum optics;
  5. the generation and propagation of very short pulses in optical waveguides.
