Research Specification
The Group is mainly concerned with the conception of autonomous systems with perceptual abilities for the accomplishment of
industrial tasks, such as verification, manipulation and assembly. Research projects are oriented along two main axes:
a) analysis and processing of sensory data: current activities concern the conception and the realization of industrial vision
techniques for applications in automatic visual inspection and autonomous robot navigation;
b) modeling and control of robotics systems: current activities concern real-time control and modeling of robots and
applications in the field of mobile robotics.
