Research Specification
The Centre Poly-Grames is involved in two main field of research:
A) Microwave for spatial/mobile communications (development of numerical methods and design of passive and active integrated
circuits in microwave/millimeter-wave band); design of circuits in various technologies such as MIC, MHMIC, MMIC; circuit
characterization (load-pull measurements, intermodulation measurements); development of novel techniques for on-wafer
measurement of MMIC circuits; study and fabrication of antennas for mobile communications; electromagnetic compatibility; study
of supraconducting components and circuits; solid-state power amplifiers.
B) Wave-matter interaction and microwave heating (characterization and development of dielectric material models); development
of numerical modelling techniques for various heating, drying and cooking processes; development of new microwave reactors and
drying processes.
