Research Specification

Mission :

“To deliver an integrated research program that increases basic knowledge and develops the generic life cycle tools needed to implement sustainable development in our partners' respective sectors.”

Goals :

- Integrate LCA methodology into the CO₂ emission credit quantification process of the Kyoto Protocol

- Broaden the LCA framework to ingrate the elements that have been set aside up until now, including the “consequential”, temporal and social components

- Develop and validate life cycle impact measurement models and create new indicators

- Integrate knowledge with the development of decision-support software.
