A lease is usually signed on an annual basis; special terms regarding lease renewal may be set in the lease;
Incubator companies and their employees must be covered by a general liability insurance of at least $2,000,000 throughout their stay in the incubator facilities;
Incubator companies must comply at all times with the CSST requirements;
Incubator companies and their employees, if applicable, must comply with all relevant policies, guidelines and regulations of École Polytechnique and Université de Montréal they are subjected to, regarding their presence in a university building, including research ethics with human subjects, probity, hazardous waste disposal, use of radioactive materials, CCAC standards, as well as all relevant municipal, provincial and federal laws;
Companies operating in the incubator and their employees are required to commit to preserving the confidentiality of other incubated companies’ activities and/or activities of university laboratories, upon request by the institutions, if applicable;
Any other normal consideration within the context of academic research.
