  • Close to 1300 publications in 2006 (including 560 articles in scientific journals)

According to a benchmark analysis1 of research pertaining to the top 15 Canadian engineering faculties and schools, Polytechnique is a leader for several key indicators:

  • Industry-partnered research;
  • Number of Ph.D. students,
  • NSERC funding support;
  • Number of research chairs (NSERC and Canada Research Chairs),
  • Funding of research infrastructures and equipment (Canada Foundation for Innovation, government of Québec and industrial partners).
