Obtain some financial support for your participation in a research project

The objective of the MAFS is to suggest a minimum level of financial aid to allow all master’s and doctorate students to obtain a sufficient level of funding to dedicate themselves to their studies and research work. The amount of financial support awarded should allow the student to benefit from a minimum annual amount of $19,500 at the doctorate level. Financial support is not automatically awarded to all students. It is up to the research supervisor to decide, depending on the student’s academic record, whether he/she is eligible for such financial support.

Such financial support applies to selected full-time master’s and doctorate students as well as students preparing for these graduate programs.

Also, please note that all foreign students registered in a doctorate program at Polytechnique Montréal are exempted from differential fees and pay the same tuition fees as Quebec students, more information here.
