Prospective graduate students

Choosing a program of study

First, you need to have a clear idea of what you want to do! Then, you need to ask yourself the following questions:

  • Am I willing to study for another year or longer?
  • How much available time do I have (full-time or part-time)?
  • Am I interested in a course-based or thesis-based program of study?
  • To which program am I eligible?
  • Which field of engineering am I particularly interested in?

The following table presents some characteristics to help you identify the kind of program of study that best suits your needs and objectives.
