Choose your field of research

In the case of a research program, master’s or doctorate program, you must choose a field of research before sending your admission application. Choosing a department that appeals to you is not enough. For instance, if you are passionate about polymers, at Polytechnique Montréal, you can find research projects in this field in chemical engineering, engineering physics, materials engineering, mechanical engineering and even civil engineering.

Do not forget that if you register for a research program, you will have to find a professor who is willing to supervise your work.
