Working while studying
Canadian citizens and residents are entitled to work while studying. Since our thesis-based master’s and doctorate students are necessarily registered as full-time students, it is assumed that they will have a job that requires only a few hours of their time per week.
On the other hand, international students holding a student permit are strictly entitled to work on-campus. Should you get caught working somewhere else, you could be expelled out of Canada. ( www.polymtl.ca/inter/etuvisi/en/travailstages/index.php)
