Mr. Lamarre is currently (2009) Chairman of the Board of Polytechnic Montreal. He played a role in the radiation of the Canadian engineering consulting internationally and has been responsible for major infrastructure projects in the world. He is an Officer of the Order of Canada and the National Order of Quebec
