Serge Gendron

Graduated in civil engineering from the Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal in 1973, Serge Gendron, president of AGF Group and president of the Fondation de Polytechnique Montreal, won the Grand Award 2012, the highest honor awarded by the Ordre des ingénieurs du Quebec at one of its members.
A successful businessman, Mr. Gendron plays a role in the strategic directions of its business, which provides development past 30 years. AGF Group now includes 36 business units located primarily in Canada, the United States, Europe, UAE, Middle East and Africa.
The Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) annually awards its Grand Award for one of its members to recognize excellence in professional practice based on four core values of the profession and to propose a model to all members of the Order.
A medal of prestige, a work of Quebec artist, is awarded to the winner at the Gala of Excellence of the Order. A replica of the work, as insignia, accompanies the medal.
