The persons inducted into the Ordre national du Québec, or promoted therein, receive one of the following titles, in keeping with the Ordre’s three ranks:

• Knight
• Officer
• Grand Officer

They may use the abbreviation corresponding to their rank after their name:

• C.Q., for Knight
• O.Q., for Officer
• G.O.Q., for Grand Officer

The individuals decorated by the Ordre are authorized to wear the insignia presented to them by the Premier of Québec.
