Biography

Gabriel Éthier-Majcher is an assistant professor in the electrical engineering department at Polytechnique Montréal. He received a B.Eng and Ph.D. degree in Engineering Physics from Polytechnique Montréal (2009 and 2016). From 2016 to 2018, he was a postdoctoral fellow 2016 to 2018, postdoctoral fellow in the Cavendish Laboratory at the University of Cambridge. Before joining the electrical engineering department, he was the quantum hardware team leader at Anyon Systems, a quantum computing company based in the Greater Montreal.
