Each year, at its Distinctions event, Centraide of Greater Montreal rewards the efforts made by businesses and organizations to fight poverty in the Montréal region. 

With the aim of acknowledging the generosity of its community and the remarkable work of its volunteers, Polytechnique Montréal submitted its application in the category “Employee Campaign – Public Sector.”

Polytechnique was among the finalists named at the Distinctions event, which took place April 18 at the Montréal Science Centre. At the event, Polytechnique was given a plaque to commemorate the commitment and generosity of all its members who contributed directly or indirectly to Centraide's work.

This was Polytechnique Montréal's second recognition. Polytechnique surpassed its goal by far, raising $110,738.35 in the last Centraide campaign. We are counting on your creativity and generosity to make the Poly-Centraide 2012 campaign a major success!
