Suzanne Lacroix appointed to NSERC University Faculty Awards Selection Committee

Suzanne Lacroix, professor in the Department of Engineering Physics and head of the Fibre Optics Laboratory, has been appointed
by the Natural Sciences Engineering and Research Council of Canada (NSERC) to sit on its University Faculty Awards Selection
Committee.
The appointment is an honour for Ms. Lacroix, as well as a demanding challenge: her duties will include
the intensive work that goes along with membership in any peer evaluation committee.
We are sure Ms. Lacroix will acquit herself of these important tasks with great professionalism, and contribute to the
NSERC's successful support of university research in science and engineering.
