Poster competition at 3rd MEDTEQ Forum: Polytechnique students recognized
The Consortium de recherche et d'innovation en technologies médicales du Québec (Québec Consortium for Industrial Research and Innovation in Medical Technology – MEDTEQ) once again brought the medical technologies community together for a third Mobilization Forum, which took place recently in Québec City. MEDTEQ took the opportunity to organize the second poster competition for students carrying out research in the field.
The competition provided students with a chance to showcase their research and draw the MEDTEQ community's attention to the excellence of their work.
Once again this year, the Fonds de recherche du Québec (FRQ, both the Nature et Technologie and Santé
funds) wanted to
recognize the next generation's excellence. Their financial support enabled the jury to award five prizes to the students
who made their mark with the excellence and relevance of their research as well as the clarity with which they presented their
results and conclusions. The competition results and prizes were announced by the jury during the Forum's closing cocktail.
The jury of experts received 37 applications this year. They came from a large number of research institutions in Québec and underscored the multidisciplinary character of the medical technology research projects our researchers are working on. Like last year, the applications were of high quality.
