Polytechnique Montréal launches INNOVATIO, a webzine on the work of our research professors

June 12, 2012 - Source : NEWS

Innovatio: To find out what's happening in our laboratories and to understand the full extent of the research carried out within our walls.

Inspired by the Latin word at the root of the word “innovation,” Innovatio is a brand-new French-languagewebzine devoted entirely to the research work of our research professors and their teams.

The creation of this new tool falls under one of Polytechnique's strategic research and development directions, which consists in disseminating the results of the work carried out in our laboratories and showcasing both the innovators behind these successes and the impact of their work on society as a whole.

Exceptional work

On the front page of the first issue, we present short videos on the exceptional work of professors Michel Meunier in biomedical engineering, Michel Aubertin in mine-waste management, Maxime Raison in rehabilitation engineering and Raman Kashyap in photonics. Articles on various Polytechnique research topics are also featured.

Innovatio is the product of collaboration between the teams of research professors, the Research and Innovation team, and the IT and Communications & Recruitment departments.
