Department of Mathematical and Industrial Engineering awards entrance scholarships
On October 6, the Department of Mathematical and Industrial Engineering awarded entrance scholarships to nine industrial engineering undergraduates. The scholarships are granted to students whose admission applications show a performance rating of above 32.
The awards were presented at a special luncheon in the presence of Gilles Savard, full professor and Director of the Department of Mathematical and Industrial Engineering; Pierre Baptiste, full professor and Head of the industrial engineering program; Patrick Isac, associate professor; Marlène Aubin, assistant to the Director of Administrative Management; and Alain Aubertin, assistant to the Director of Teaching and Research.
