2006 Conference of the Canadian Society for Industrial Engineering - Polytechnique delegation stands out

Each year, hundreds of industrial engineering students from nine universities in Eastern Canada get together to participate in the Canadian Society for Industrial Engineering (CSIE) Conference.

The 26th edition was held at Dalhousie University in Halifax from January 12 to 15, 2006.  After a 16-hour bus trip, 56 École Polytechnique students arrived in Nova Scotia. For three days, they met professionals and attended conferences on various issues, and a few lucky students even visited the Oland Brewery. The CSIE Conference was also the setting of a friendly competition between universities. Polytechnique's performance at the competition was nothing short of brilliant.
