Mission and vision
The mission of the 3SPack NSERC Industrial Research Chair is to develop innovative, multilayer packaging using materials and films whose functional properties help improve safety. Detecting pathogens, reducing the amount of materials used and using biodegradable materials are other key concerns. The Chair aims to develop flexible multilayer packaging with added value for the environment and society.
The 3SPack Chair also seeks to establish an excellence centre on multilayer films for flexible packaging applications and to consolidate ongoing research activities at the Centre de recherche en plasturgie et composites (Centre for Applied Research on Polymers and Composites – CREPEC).
