TransMedTech relies on thirty technology platforms, both in the academic and hospital sectors, providing high-level infrastructure and services for the development and validation of medical technologies. iTMT directly subsidizes 19 highly qualified and experienced professionals (HQP) to support 16 of these platforms. Supervised by one or more researchers, these platforms particularly adhere to the Living lab mode and aim to support the research and development of medical technologies.
The role of the HQP is to support interdisciplinary & intersectoral projects for the development, validation and implementation of medical technologies with a high potential to impact patients and the health system, and also to help train the next generation's leaders by passing on their knowledge to students and postdoctoral fellows.
The 16 technological platforms are divided into 4 categories:
- Clinical Development
- Imaging Technologies
- Data Services
