Publications
Biography
Marios Fokaefs is an Assistant Professor at Polytechnique Montreal. He holds MSc (2010) and PhD (2015) degrees in Software Engineering from the University of Alberta. He was a postdoctoral fellow at York University from February 2015 to August 2017. His research interests include software evolution and maintenance, software performance and security in web, cloud and IoT software systems. More specifically, his research looks at the intersection of technical considerations of software change (functionality, performance, security) with business and economic aspects (clients, competitors, prices and costs). His work has been published in top Software Engineering venues like ICSME, ICWS, CLOUD, SEAMS and top journals including JSS and TAAS. He has co-organized the bi-annual research meeting CSER in November 2016. He has served in program committees for conferences like MESOCA, ICSOC and ICSME and he has reviewed for journals including JSS, TSC, and TOSEM.
