Detailed description
Optical fiber sensors have been shown to have many useful applications because of their small size, immunity to electromagnetic noise and capacity for remote sensing.
We are recruiting Master’s and PhD students to pursue research in optical fiber sensors, which may involve designing new distributed sensing system, developing new distributed sensing schemes and creating new a lab-in-a-fiber sensing platform. Projects have a strong engineering component and may lead to many industrial collaborations.
Financing possibility
Funding is possible. Many possibilities of getting provincial or federal graduate scholarships for outstanding CVs.
