Materials Engineering

Our team has established experience in Materials Engineering. Our multidisciplinary background in inorganic and organic chemistry syntheses gives us flexibility in terms of new challenges in materials manufacture. We combine equipment design with materials science and devise solutions to best integrate them.

Process Intensification & Electricity-Driven Processes

We work to accelerate the adoption of Process Intensification technologies to the commercial scale. Process Intensification provides opportunities for feedstock substitution and for the electrification of the chemical industry, thus contributing to the ongoing energy transition.

Green Chemistry

We are able to tackle Green Chemistry principles in several ways through biomass conversion, conceiving renewable-electricity driven units and processes, translating processes from batch to continuous. 

Sustainable Metal Extraction

We wish to reduce the environmental footprint of metal extraction from primary sources and recover metals from end-of-life streams.

Industrial R&D collaborations

We enjoy an established network of industrial partners and work to meet their needs in line with their commercial objectives.

We design green processes aiming at minimizing the impact on the environment.

Biomedical Solutions

Through our competence in Materials Engineering we aim at devising drug delivery systems with tailored properties. We work together with experts in pharmaceutical applications and physicians.
